  • Your Lovebird has the same name that i. LOL

  • @ElAullidoDeLaNada :D hi Paco :D

  • please help how to tame a male 5 month fischer now he eats from my hand but he is really scared you cant touch him he will probably bite you or make him step to your hands he is new but still really really scared i like when he is eating but he will be inside help thanks i really appreciate and they are lovely p.s my fischer he has bitten my friend he told me its really hard tough bite i hope i wont get one like him

  • well, i can understand you frustration... i think the best thing that you can do is to be patient and sweet with him. feeding with your hand helps a lot. there is a way to grab him. you have to "create" a nest using both hands and slowly try to grab him. the other thing i did was that i started using my finger as a perch for him.

  • in the beggining he would not come but at the end he had no fear and he got used to it. you see, they don`t like fingers for some strange reason.

but be very sweet. i got mine when he was a baby and i was touching him all the time. he became very relaxed with me and other people. yours is still young though, i think you have to wait a couple of months and then the real bond starts. we started bonding for good when he became 8 months. AND THEN SUDDENLY HE DIED! i miss him soooo much.

  • oh yes, i have to mention that i didn`t have him in a cage. he was living in my room. he had his favourite place and a place to sleep of course, but he was free to go where he wanted.

i hope i helped a bit, but if you have any other related questions don`t hesitate to ask- write.

    have a nice day

  • @kentasan50 thats not smart

  • @3110a It's a bad idea to force a bird to stay in your hands,he will become even more fearfull. The best thing to do is to continue to feed him with hands and to talk to him everyday.Read a book close to him and everything like that...And,like you said,be patient!

  • Their eyes don't shut when they sleep?

  • This made me laugh... so cute.

  • can u let 2 budgies out of their cage at once? is it hard trying 2 get a budgie bck in their cage and how do u do it?

    cutest BIRD!

  • @cinder309 - Hi, Cinder, I am so sorry to hear about your little pet bird...did you get him to an avian specialist?

Regular vets try hard, but really don't know enough about the complex systems of such small animals. Anyway,

I am sorry. I bet you gave your bird the best life possible while he or she was with you.

  • Aww....that is SO cute!

It brought back so many memories of my little lovebird -
