Government statistics prove me RIGHT. Government conclusions, however, whose aims are to capture women's votes, do not tally with their own statistics. @39487568947 I explained this one earlier. They do NOT get paid less for doing the same work. Read Warren Farrell's The Myth of Male Power: they get paid less for doing LESSER jobs. Otherwise, if a company only need pay 76c instead of $1 it could make enormous savings and put its competitors out of business. Not rocket science. And you're calling ME an idiot?

@lewtube More likely, you don't want to be proven wrong. My statistic was pointing to the SAME job, SAME hours. Not all women have or want husbands so deserve a decent wage to live off. Anyway, this will be the last point I make as I have realised I am debating with an idiot, who disguises generalising and badly researched points in shrouds of semi-advanced vocabulary.

@39487568947 I'm not going to wade and google. Her feminist standpoint is between the lines. You can't point to a sentence and say "ah-hah! There it is!".

And women earn less because they choose different jobs. They choose easy clean jobs, that pay less. Men choose risky, heavy or dirty jobs, or technically challenging jobs that pay more. They do that because they feed the family. Women's earnings are as a top-up to their husband's, or more usually, for their own spending.

Einstein's work was brilliant creativity. Marie Curie followed on from Pierre's idea that a natural radioactive element exists. Maire Curie's father was a physics teacher. That gave her a head start. Einstein was from a poor background. His ideas came to him from outside -- that's creativity, something distinctly masculine.
