I don't quite get the feeling in this version that comes through when Paulo Bellinati plays it on guitar, although much of the difference may just be that the bandolim lacks the guitar's deep sonority, that I think gives it more color. I do think the player here interprets it in a very unique and interesting way, but that people should listen to Bellinati's version first as a way to understand better what is going on here.
