Takes about 8 to 10 hrs......depending on your skill level ,If you're pretty handy with tools it's "do-able" .........be prepared to have the whole bike supported with the front end off..........block up the frame, and strap the back end to a shop wall or something
this could also be achieved by rolling the back tire onto a 2x6 (with the board turned CROSSWAYS of the bike) strap it to the board in a triangle configuration to stabilize it (with wheel chocks ) and now you can lift the front end !

yes ....really cool bike! are you still actively in the military? (I spent 4 yrs in the army was a lance missle crewman for 2 yrs then changed MOS and became a combat engr. in a mobile assault bridge co in Germany....that was back in 75-79 .....You be careful over there and make sure you come home safe! (I have a nephew over there in Iraq I worry about him some too ) Mike
