Can this hack be run on any emulator, or does it need a specific one? VirtuaNES doesn't run ips files.

you have to patch a mega man 4 rom with the ips file. you could use ips xp for example. it also has to be the correct rom your patching it with, but as long as it is a us or eu rom file i think it should work. it should then work on any nes emulator.

Are you aware that mavericks didn't exist until the X series?

yes. but my intentions with this hack is to make a good platform action game, not a deep game with a advanced story. and who knows, maybe there will be mavericks in it too? ;)

iam waiting for either a new version of megafle or another program so i can edit more of the game that still isn't supportable by the current version of megafle. even if it would get realesed tomorow it still would take probably a few more months before its ready.
