In 2007 I bought the book "What's Your Poo Telling You" on a lark at a bookstore checkout counter. It's a delightfully humorous yet scientific consideration of what one's digestive byproducts say about your health at a given moment (and for those with GI issues like myself, a must-read). For further lollage, I placed the book on a curio shelf above the bathroom window, near the ceiling: displaying the cover in a discreet yet somewhat obvious joke.
On March 2 2011, my 6yo daughter Bethany - an astute (but still learning) reader for her age - finally noticed the cover of the book at the edge of the shelf, and asked my wife "Mom, does that *really* say "what's your poo telling you?!"
My wife gave her the book to investigate, and promptly sent her downstairs to show it to me. Unprompted, Bethany then proceeded to read as I fished out my cellphone and caught the aftermath of what happens when you mix science, potty humor, and precocious 6-year-olds...
