versatility is the allied ultimate tactic...adapting to amphibious tactic...

Destroyer,black hole shield,some Repair IFV
Tanks inside,pretty much protective defense...

It's the most weakest ship in the game. I will go with Naginatas for firepower or Akulas for damage. But somehow, Assault Destroyers are somehow useful they are capable for support measures. Combining it with Aircraft Carriers may pretty come in handy as they can destroy naval units with great precision while a Black Hole Armor activates and draw out fire then Blackout Missile for powerdown.

A good ship, but not without drawbacks: 1 less offensive power than Akula sub and Naginata cruiser. 2 nearly defenseless against attack from the air. 3 Cannot use Black Hole Armor and its cannon at the same time. 4 Slower on land than most Allied units. 5 Somewhat Expensive($1500)

my fav. tank :)

thats what the description says lol

@SaintsSpecOps depth charges fired from a cannon?
-
its cannon uses dept charges
-
the cannon can shoot submarines that is so unreal just try it i klicked on a submarine by accident and the destroyer shot it from the bottom of the sea

"C'mon! Battle Stations!" When I play with the Allies, my navy should consist at least from 6 Destroyers. You can use them to ambush a Construction Yard and use at least one of them with the Black Hole Armor.

@Superfrycook if the Allied units look like anime,then the japanese units look like what,Mickey Mouse&Donald Duck?
the only Allied unit that resembles something unusual to the Red Alert universe is the FutureTank,which resembles very much with the T1 Terminator robot model from Terminator 3.
What's the difference between the Allied Destroyer from RA2 and the Assault Destroyer from RA3 ?
Superfrycook 1 year ago
@Superfrycook
they are both similar in its purpose but they have different weapons, the ra2 destroyer had a plane resting on it to take down submarines, its also had a cannon that fires shells at other ships or buildings near the coastline, it cannot go on land only sea. the ra3 destroyer has a similar cannon but can go on land and attack or ambush the enemy by sea. It can crush other vehicles, it can absorb damage taken from other nearby ally units by its 2nd ability.

@redalert2havoc so in RA2, the Allied Destroyers can detect submersible units with their Ospreys and they could fire torpedoes at them ?
Superfrycook 1 year ago
@Superfrycook
the ra2 destroyers uses their ospreys to fire missles at submarines, the destroyer doesn't fire any torpedoes, only cannon shells at other 'floating' ships and buildings.

Superfrycook 1 year ago
@Superfrycook
the destroyer do not look like anime, they look more like modern battleships. i don't know where you get the idea that it looks anime.
