B-nitrostyrenes dissolved in a 30/30/30% of EtOH, HCl, and H2SO4 for the cathode and 75ml conc H2SO4 to 100ml EtOH for the anode (separated by a pourous ceramic structure) and with a carbon anode/lead (preoxide coated) cathode with 2.6Mh passing through it for 12hr, forst keep at 20 for 6 ane let it warm to 40 next... base and extract/workup...

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEtastic!!!! helional-> aldoxide with hydrixylamine in EtOh with dry NaCO3 to teh oxime.... NaCo3, NaCClo3 (12.5+) and oxime to the intermediate ketone B-MeoP2P followed by refx in ethloxide with AmACo3 (ammonium acetate) to yield the beta/psudo nitroside... reduce with HgAH and work up as usual to MDA,,,......!
