Hawaii Sessions is a look back at the adventure that shaped longboard design and development more than any other here at Original Skateboards. This is a story of transition.

Hawaii Sessions Pt.2: After several months of planning, researching and preparation the crew lands in Honolulu and prepares for a month long expedition into the unknown. Filmed two years ago on the Big Island and Oahu.

Go the places you want to go. Ride your hills how you want to ride. Love your friends. They are all waiting. Go Longboard. More at: http://www.originalskateboards.com

  • hey i was wondering what the difference is between the beast and the apex 40 besides cost. i was planning on getting one of these boards this summer

  • @MRPRINCEOFPERSIA7 The Apex 40 has a carbon reinforcement bar which makes it more durable than the beast, and it will not snap at the neck during freestyle tricks. It's meant for freestyle riding, but can also do some freeriding and comes in either rocker concave for double concave. The freeride boards are stiffer and meant for high speeds and sliding. They come in rocker concave or w concave, and they are made with all wood.

  • Many many differences. Cost is actually the least of the differences.

Primarily when you are comparing the Apex 40 vs the Freeride 41 it is important to remember that freeriding (as a discipline) puts very little strain on a board. There is a reason most freeride decks aren't packing the carbon reinforcement you see in the Apex 40, that has to do with cost to benefit. If you are freestyling infrequently you *probably* don't need the strength the Apex construction provides.

  • yo guys i have a question

I was just curious as to how you guys take your boards around because at the end of the month ill be going to england for some time and I was hoping to take my board with me

do you just take it as carry on?

  • @Ajay3117 we usually just carry our boards onto the plane without a problem. Sometimes we ship them in advanced

  • To dislike this in any way, the adventure, the experience, just riding in these places you must live in a cave or on an ice cap with no chance of seeing the world. Trips like these are brilliant, Oh and if you guys who dislike it do live in either of these places i described, who's your internet provider HOOK ME UP 'cuz mine sucks!!

  • what boards do they use?

  • @MRPRINCEOFPERSIA7 their are so may differences between the two boards i cant even think of a simalarity besides they're both made out of wood, they have kicks, and you skate them.

  • Basicly every song of "Explosions in the Sky" would fit these videos. <3 Love it.
