Did I miss something or did the movie cut out the fact that 2 years before her death she had a miscarriage? Or is that coming up?

At 2:40 my heart just stops - "there's no negative image of me behind my eyes." It's like she was truly in touch with her own talent and losing herself. And then her editor says she and Ted understood each other in ways others couldn't because of their unique minds. They obviously didn't understand each other at all. She was clinging on to him as a symbol of life and he was just a good critic of her talent and nothing more. Life can be so cruel sometimes.
