I have the Orphans box set on vinyl and it kills-and this song has so much bass/bottom end it just floors you. I musta played this tune 5 times before I flipped the LP and put on side 2. Thank you for posting this and I hope it stays up for everyone to get an earfull about what Tom Waits is.

I was at a music store the other day and saw that box set, and I got so close to buying it, but I didn't have the funds, and the record player is acting up. Good to know that the sound is everything I knew it would be.

My suggestion-if you get some xmass cash, go back there and grab it, while you can, its limited pressings and when its gone its gone. Then save some $ for a new turntable. You wlll need one anyways and they sell new ones at Guitar Center for around $200 and they are quality made to withstand abuse from crackhead DJ's at the club so it will last a long time in your quiet household.

I might do that. Today is christmas, is in not? I don't really care. I can get a record player for a lot cheaper. I grew up around musicians/fanatic collectors, and they all have more than one turntable. My house won't be quite if I got this on vinyl. I blast it now.
