Following may be a few reasons, why US actively initiate & promote wars, violence, conflicts and chaos across the globe, away from its main land. This is a synopsis of an article I read in the net

1. Wars create direct consumption for US defense/aerospace industry. Defense/Aerospace industry is the back bone of US technological superiority & have monopoly.

2. Each war is followed by construction work, which is mostly done by US firms.

No one is clear, because the reality of what the US does in the world is completely hidden to us by the media. Have you ever read "Confessions Of An Economic Hit Man" or "Secret History Of The American Empire". Why on Earth would anyone think Osama bin Laden is any more of a reason than WMD in Iraq. Our people are our country, and we allow out own people to be treated like garbage, not to mention how we treat people in other countries. I agree with Bernie, but how to prevail against evil?
