[Full Story]
On July 8, a mother dolphin was spotted with her calf in Sanniang Bay of Qinzhou City in Southern China. The mother appeared to be helping her calf stay afloat. And when a tourist vessel got close enough to see the baby, they saw that it was dead.

It had a long cut across its belly, probably from a boat propeller. Tourist boats often go dolphin spotting in nearby waters.

The calf looked like it had been dead for several days.

[ Mr. Su, Fisherman]:
"The little dolphin was dead for two or three days, but its mother still stayed with it and carried it day and night, which has touched all of us and the tourists. Just like human beings, dolphins also have feelings. A mother's love is noble and moving."

Similar behavior in mother dolphins has been documented by an Italian scientist since 2007.

After several encounters with dolphins mourning their dead or nearly dead, scientists are starting to think that not only do dolphins grieve, they are also aware of their own mortality.

If animals can love each other and take care of each other, why can't we the human beings do the same for the rest of the civilizations...!! Why we kill each other to rule over ?!!

Why do some have to blame humans for every single bad thing that happens to animals? It's just as likely that baby dolphin was killed by a male dolphin that was determined to bring its mother into estrus. A shark could've also killed it. It may have been stillborn at birth or died soon after. You can't go around blaming humanity every time an animal dies of a horrific injury. It just isn't realistic at all.

Of course animals have feelings too. Humans are not special because there are some of them who can't feel emotions either. God does not exist and if it wasn't for religion putting that lie in everyones head we would treat animals better because like them when we die we will cease to exist. Life is special because it is the only thing we have and if you actually are naive enough to believe there is a heaven for humans then congrats at being dumber then the dolphins.

We should be more considerate towards gods creatures as we are the very reason animals are being endangered. It's the sad truth yet we have the power to change it. We have money for war to be greedy and takes others land yet can't invest in saving and protecting these beautiful creatures. It's a shame how the human race has become... Lowly but surely killing our paradise, our mother :(

Killing is necessary, without it the civilizations we have constructed would not exist. Animals kill too and while they may not have civilizations as grand as ours, an order exists among some of them as well.
