Another video by me...Western style! I'm not sure what you call it, an art short or maybe an abstract video but it's another video I made but it's an artistic approach. I took some of the footage I took during the time I went hiking up Mission Peak with my cousins and compiled them together, did some splitting, add sephia tone and some film grain effects to give the clips an old, slow motion, Western look.
Since it's an "artistic" (notice the quotes) approach, I decided to give this video Western feel. This is somewhat of a music video done in the style of a western since the song I'm using sounded like it would fit into some Western films and the environments in which the footage takes place looks like it might be in Westerns films. Notice that the slowness of the music and it's relation to the slowness of the clips. It has no actual meaning, it's up to you to comprehend the tone and mood of this video. This was filmed at Mission Peak, Fremont, California. My cousins and I hiked up Mission Peak in honor of our cousin who recently passed away during the summer.
