A little talk with my mother and father, and their take on families which are still coming to terms with understand, accepting, and embracing LGBT family members. Part One - dealing with parents or family that ask (or demand...) that you not show any signs of physical affection toward your partner.

  • What lovely parents. I am so envious. I would give I-don't-know-what to have parents as accepting as yours. Mine are trying, they really are, but they're just not there yet (Though they would probably tell you otherwise.). I can't imagine talking so openly and honestly and most of all *normally* about these kind of things with my family.

  • @MattAlgren it takes time, my brother(s).
