Thing is, if apple really wanted to super power their phones, they would put an nVidia Tegra 2, or the upcoming Tegra 4. not some mamby pamby A5 or A6... but, that's just my thought.

That's why people love Apple, cuz they tell it like it is and don't try to screw the consumer. Others will tell you it's 4G and give you Flash and copy/paste but Apple takes their time and tests it out and when they roll it out you know it works. At first I was disappointed there was no iPhone 5 but it might just be the name. Everything else as you mentioned is there.

The iPhone 4 has the highest pixel per inch dimensions, and if they radically changed the dimensions of the screens that would go against everything developers have grown to know and love. There is a reason the iOS App Store is dramatically better than the Android Market, and the reason for that is consistency. Android developers need to make their apps work with all screen dimensions, which limits the design.
