I couldn't find this version anywhere on Youtube so I uploaded it.
This version is very different from the single and I actually prefer it. There is a beautiful constant undercurrent from the beginning which you don't get with the popular version. The main unmistakeable theme doesn't materialise for a full 90 seconds....

I love this version and I hope you like too.....I'd be interested as to what you think having not heard this before. Cheers lew..

Since uploading this track I have found out that this track is actually a 'remix' by Chico Coco and Sacha Puttnam......but I still love it.

Track taken from 'The Best of Peter Green's FLEETWOOD MAC'

This track is no.20 (the last track) on this album (link below for 'Play.com' and 'Amazon.com' ) however I have seen the same album advertised with only 19 tracks and this track omitted so be carefull if you try to purchase this album and want this track included.

Also of note is Track no.19 on this album 'I'd Rather Go Blind' by Chicken Shack with Christine Perfect (later to be McVie)..Not strictly Fleetwood Mac but a good song all the same.

before Danny Kirwan joined Peter Green was going to leave music, he was getting little help from the band: Danny joined & wrote half the songs for the new album, even taking over lead guitar much of the time in the studio & on stage: Peter stayed as a result & this freed him up to produce his best music ever, including this classic: Peter now says that it could not have been without Danny since he changed the course of the song when Peter was trying to write it: making it the song we love.

Nice freshening up. This version is most worthwhile, if you had any fondness for the old original. Stick with it at the shift, it climbs out of the fatal rut the old version had. Thanks Peter!

time passes quicker when you are enjoying yourself.this was but a (forgivr the pun) fleeting moment.hauntingly beautiful and much more real than the common studio produced version.thankyou for confirming that peter was the real creative component for the mac.
