  • The plugs worked fine. I wish I had started my maintenance log before I put them in, because I don't know how many miles I had on them when I recently swapped them out. I'm guessing about 40k, which isn't bad for plugs that cost me about $2 each.

  • the exaust provides need bck push on the motor, its not good for the car to remove the exaust. the exause redirects all that hot bad air away from your engine. your doing more harm then good. not to mention all that hot air can melt the plastic parts of your car. not worth it.

  • The car still had a full length exhaust system, with 4 catalytic converters and an H pipe.

  • will i have to change the intake manifold in my 96 p71 128,000 mi , i heard they can blow on u cause there plastic? info please

  • The coolant passage in the front of the intake manifold is prone to rupturing. It's not a bad idea to replace it. Mine thankfully has not broken, so it's still the original manifold.

  • only reason it dont sound that good is its a low compression motor if it were higher it would sound louder

  • 9.25:1 isn't exactly low, but it also isn't very high

  • That thing sounds like shit :(

  • hey how did those plugs work for you did you like them. Im searching around to see what plugs would be the best for my 99 p71`

  • @crownvic1776 This is one of the oldest and wildly inaccurate automobile myths out there.

  • @chevrofreak My 01 Crown Vic has 256K miles on it and I just replaced the intake manifold at 255K because the coolant passage cracked right behind the alternator. I bought a new one for $100 from someone and put it on easily. Wasnt hard, but the only thing was that the bolt holes for the alternator bracket didnt line up for the back. The 2 front ones did. Install time for me was like 2 hours or less and I didnt know a thing on how to replace it.

  • @chevrofreak ...Oh i see. some idiots cut it off before the H pipe. the main reason is to get that hot air out

  • it sounds like ou got a v8 sound dubbing and put it in the clip it s funny at first
