Continuing the series by getting closer to individual battles, we start with Greece, but before the great battles with the Persians, there was Troy. Paris fell enamored of Helen and stole her away to Troy, upsetting her husband, Menelaus, greatly. Thus a thousand ships were launched and a long siege began. But it took subterfuge and a giant hollow horse to sway the outcome. Fact or myth? Who can say with certainty. But the story has intrigued artists, writers, and musicians through the ages.
