  • 60 years old and NOT a druggie?

SIXTY YEARS OLD AND NOT A DRUGGIE!!!?

    HOW DARE YOU!!!

  • "They honestly believe that God made the whole earth in their image." So true, not to mention a complete inversion of the Biblical "God made people in His image." As Jerome Kagan wrote in The Nature of the Child, there is a natural tendency to assume that two people share some similarities, then they must share others. This is the basis of a child's identification with a parent, etc. However, it seems that Peele has put his finger on the negative aspects of this tendency.

  • bingo!

for all its hot air about "smashing the ego", 12-step is the epitome of ego-centrism. you're inherently trapped within an 'alcoholic' self & your only means of release are: a) god (who you 'create' for yourself); b) reliance on (& unity[?] with) an equally self-absorbed 'group'; c) a lifetime of navel-gazing.

oh yeah - group-centric 'service' (e.g., putting away chairs).

welcome to AA. you're doomed. now be grateful about it.

  • I'm becoming addicted to Dr. Peele! LOL! Actually his statements seem to say that we all are different, and thus no matter what the addiction or cure; it may only be detrimental or effective to varying degrees, depending on each person's unique personal experience. ummmm or something like that, heh! Be well.

    Peace,

  • I'm 60 years old but I'm not a druggie.

    I don't even drink.

    Luvs,

    Mooz

  • You need to watch my videos about XXY's Intersex people and gender issues and I think you'll change your mind. I use drugs for treatment, the very same drugs others used for abuse.
