Resident Evil 4 Intro Parody

*Read this before watching*

WARNING: contains some gruesome images (mostly in the first couple of minutes), crude humor, and harsh language. And it's pretty dumb, too, especially in the opening minutes, but that's what it's meant to be. The video's over 8 minutes long, so if you start to think it's stale while watching it, perhaps you should bail out so you won't waste your time. Oh, and it makes fun of Pokémon a tiny bit, so if any fans stumble across this, um, sorry, or something. I made those cracks for those who dislike PKMN anyway.

If you're a fan of RE4, you are likely to have seen the parody videos made by The Ward -- namely the ones with the 'Barbie Girl' song involved. You're likely to have seen some other parody videos with messed up slow/fast-motion moments and some zany music videos that hit you out of left field like that "Saddler: Start Wearing Purple" Video.

This video is sort of like them, as well as somewhat like the "Sponge Gore Death Pants" series once posted by user manwith10toes. Sorry if you've missed the boat and haven't seen them, they were awesome and I hope they return one day. The last one got removed by none other than Viacom (read:jerks).

But more to the point, this is basically a downloaded Resident Evil 4 introduction scene with messed up speeds, graphics (Windows Movie Maker), and some added in sounds and pictures that are just crazy. I found it funny, and it's just some crap I smashed out during one weekend.

It's basically an experiment that I did in Fall 2006, but don't expect any more of them any time soon. I do not have a recording device; otherwise I could record an entire playthrough and mess with it this way for purposes of amusement.

If this leaves a mark on you either find this hilarious, stupid, or repulsive, or a mixture. How messed up can someone make the intro of RE4? Who knows... just don't say I didn't warn you, this *might* disturb you.

I uploaded this as a personal celebration for a year of watching youtube videos, and for St. Patrick's Day, or something to that effect.

Where did you download the introduction scene from??? And how do you slow down and speed up the video with Windows movie maker???

Go to altavista dot com and search for "re4opening4wesker". That's where I found the intro scene from when Leon's with the cops. As for the Umbrella flashback part, I think I got that from stuckgamer dot com, although they changed their video format and downloading from them is no longer possible.

Also, you can slow down and speed up clips by making cuts in the video, and going into Tasks > Video Effects > Slow Down, Half or Speed Up, Double. You can slow or speed clips multiple times over, too.
