"Francisco Medavogs collection started off as a small sampling of some European couture designs to help him study FASHION design. By looking at the French seams and other intricacies, he learned about couture construction through the true masters of design. This hobby quickly became a collection of more than 25,000 fashion items, primarily 20th century European designs, with a number of them extending back to the 1920s and 30s.
"At first, I didn't quite understand why so many people were interested in seeing these clothes," says Francisco. "For me, the clothes were simply great examples of what I was able to study while at the Fashion Institute. Now, I feel that my collection is the beginning of a wonderful museum collection."
"I'd love to open the first American Fashion Museum, devoted solely to fashion and couture, similar to Zandra Rhodes' museum in London."

My Aunt was very vocal in Bringing Gianni Versace to NYC. she was the fashion director for B.Altman and she was the most wonderful woman who loved Gianni very much. I want to tell you something about that. message me. I had a really great grey cotton jacket with slightly padded sloped shoulder with like a new wave triangular flap that snapped across the front. the lining was deeper grey satin elegant and soft and I never wanted to take it off. It was stolen.

Many of my clothes are from that department store in NY! I am so excited that someone was actually brought up in those years when Versace was shaping the new heirs of the fashion setters in the 80's!

Oh Nice I Collect Also. I have Some Awsome Thing's Dating Way Back. My Mother Use To Be A Charleston Dancer. I Was lucky to be Handed all Her Thing's From The 20's. there very Elergent. i spend a lot of time in Paris and have found some great collector's piece's in the store's there.
