  • i just got a diana f+ and i loaded my film upside down i think. the numbers show up upside down, is that bad? im new to the camera game so idk this shit, haha get back to me asap please. thank you

  • @LankyGarry No worries, upside down numbers is normal.

  • Is that part metal or plastic? Cause my is a plastic and i cant bend it. Is that mean my camera fake? Please let me know... THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!

  • @MrTerTer The bottom plate is plastic. Bend it where there is a "fold" in the plastic, where it comes off the bottom part of the camera into the film compartment.

  • Thank you!! extremely helpful, but when I put the piece back in it doesn't stay in place very well on the right side, did i just not use enough pressure?

  • Hello- It sounds like something is a little out of alignment. Sometimes the back can be a little difficult to get on straight. When I am having trouble like this, you can sometimes get the back to seat more squarely by gently wiggling it left and right, until it seats evenly. If this doesn't solve the problem, if you are still in the loading stage, pop open the back and check to make sure the take up spool is aligned on the bottom tab.

  • Do you think it's easy to snap the plate when doing this cause it looks awfully fragile, and do you recommend me to do this when i get my Diana f+ brand new?

  • Hey Kai, i was wondering if this would help me to make sure that there is a little less slack in my film when I load it? because I seem to have a problem with I'm loading my film that there is too much slack i the film and there is almost no tension when I'm winding the film..

Also, do you have any idea how I could 'tighten' the film that is already in a camera?

obviously I'd have to open the camera up in a dark room.. but then that do I do?

  • thank you! very helpful

  • A OK ! Thanks a lot KAI !!! your videos are so helpful . Thank you !

  • when that thing first popped off i freaked out lol

  • my vintage diana already has a tension. yay, i love my diana. =)
