Dan Castalleneta, the voice of Homer Simpson, was the voice of Genie for "Return of Jafar" and the Aladdin TV series. Robin Williams was the voice of Genie for "Aladdin" and "The King of Thieves." There was a dispute between Williams and Disney over his contractual obligations. Once Disney apologized and they renegotiated, Williams returned in time for the third movie.
