just curious how long does a video like this take? each picture is different correct? meaning you had to leave the shutter open for each one then you put it all together to make the stop motion? how many photos and how long was the shutter open for? im doing a project for class so it will help a lot. thanks

this is very nice. so you basically have the camera on a slow shutter speed constantly taking pictures to pick up the lights and to give it the appearence of a nonstop movie type thing, correct?

Thanx! We used a Canon Eos5 D for the photos and Final Cut to put it all together.

Fantastic! This is a very high quality take in comparison to the standard light animation. The movement of the waves is definitely very pleasant!
