Yeah, I know, finish at least one before moving on to another...

But I work better when I have more stuff to work on. If I don't feel like working on one, I can do another and still be productive instead of watching TV!

This time its my variation on the Tower of Terror ride. Drew up some plans back when the Tower was first announced for Disneyland Paris and sat on them a while. This model should finally bring the idea to life and lay it to rest.

The story of my imagineered version of the ride drops the Twilight Zone theme and goes for a new plot.
In a nutshell, a hotel is built upon an ancient crypt with the lift shaft directly over a weak spot.
On the hotels opening night the cavern gives way and the lift plummets underground as entombed spirits make their escape.

  • Very cool. I love the model so far and the theme concept. Will there be a functioning elevator shaft?

  • I don't think there's enough room at this scale, unfortunately.

But I'll probably be making the show scenes as a seperate box model anyhow, so there will be some sort of example of what's inside eventually!

  • Wow, that's the only word for it. Also in oyur other vids, if you would have told me that it was a real building, I would have believed it, your building is so realistic! BTW, How do you darw like that? All of the designs are so beautiful, I'd like to draw as good and realistic as you!

  • It's sad that I only stumbled upon this nearly two years after it was uploaded...

After watching nearly all your videos, the single word that can sum up all my thoughts right now- WOW! Your attention to detail, ability to create cool and interesting miniature effects, and the unique ride concepts (River of Fortune being my favorite) are all superb. I only wish that some of your ideas could be transformed into real-world theme park attractions (like this Tower, which beats any Tower of Terror).

  • very awesome, i cant wait to see it completed! i am making a tower model too (was the lego one but now with wood) that will be fully furnished and functioning

  • Very nice! I too am making my own Tower of Terror, with the original theme but different building, layout, etc.
