Nice! Wish you'd post the vid of the inside.

I really do not know who the members of the group are on this selection.

I used Perma-Chink (brand name) to "chink" the cabin. This is a flexible chinking material that will expand and contract as the logs move with the change in temperature and humidity. I works very well and we have seen no breaks in the contact the chinking makes with the top and bottom log. Used a gray on the outside and a sand color (to blend with the honey color of patina that has developed on the logs on the inside. I will add a new view in a week or so that give a view of the inside.

what did you use for chink?
-
good quality craftsmanship there.

Show-offs!

A picture is worth a thousand words, or better than a few minutes of boring, badly shot video. Nice photo's that explain enough for me to get the idea. Thanks for posting this.
I will, in the next few days show you the inside. Thanks for asking.

The insulation is foil-faced polystyrene. Reflects the heat into the living space.
