  • I used Perma-Chink (brand name) to "chink" the cabin. This is a flexible chinking material that will expand and contract as the logs move with the change in temperature and humidity. I works very well and we have seen no breaks in the contact the chinking makes with the top and bottom log. Used a gray on the outside and a sand color (to blend with the honey color of patina that has developed on the logs on the inside. I will add a new view in a week or so that give a view of the inside.
