  • at 4:52 starts the best 18 seconds ever. Look how spent the man is at 5:10 what ever happen to going completely balls out until almost dead? Long live real music!

  • Just an interesting side note- David O'List used to sit in for Syd Barrett with Pink Floyd when Syd was unable to perform.

  • saw 'em three times. I've NEVER seen any act as exciting as these lads were back then.. the audience were all lnackered just trying to keep up. Early ELP (before they became total wenkers) were brilliant, maybe more "technical" but they never had anything like the sheer voltage that the Nice had, Shame that there aren't better film records around.

  • They're so awesome. Glad I saw the reunion tour in the 2000s. They were still amazing...though I missed Davy O'List.

  • Lee Jackson was just so cool!

Emo said that O'List left cos he was always too stoned to play.

I heard that it was cos he was knocking off Emo's old lady!

  • The Awakening movement is much cooler here than on the album. Too bad I was born too late to attend this concert.

  • Is that a Vox bass that Lee Jackson is playing? You don't see those anymore. Outstanding video. It's amazing to see Keith Emerson actually sitting while playing the Hammond, something he didn't do in later years.

  • @anthonydansullivan I was at the Piccadilly Circus Pavillion gig, was a tiny theatre as I remember and they done two shows each evening. Small world eh?

  • @EyMeng keith and his hats..anyone remember the brown leather one?
