At a recent Everest College-Gardena graduation, KTLA reporter and graduation Guest Speaker Elizabeth Espinosa shared her thoughts on the positive value Everest College provides to its students.
"You now have honed your skills, you have something to offer," Espinosa said. "Because, at the end of the day, with the job market it's about 'What do you bring to the table? Why are you better than the next guy?' Well now you've got confidence because you know something, you have a trade, you have a skill set. And now you've got to go out there with passion and believe in yourself the way [these graduates] believed in themselves for nine months to get through it all. And now they're graduating: it's special and it's that key to get the next level. Because we're always growing. It's about expanding yourself and getting to the next level."
All five of Everest College-Gardena's training programs were represented at graduation: Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, Medical Insurance Billing and Coding, Pharmacy Technician, and Massage Therapy.
