  • the 12 steps coupled with mindfulness is the way forward. i have practiced it for years. want to chat about it . find me on fb Bill McKay im from Scotland. enjoy moment by moment

  • Mindfullness really works, try reading Pema chodren, she really teaches good. And there is a free 10 day mindfulness training at masachessut. It's free. Vipassana is another term used for mindfullness. Try googling "Vipassana " , u will get more effective results

  • I really like the part he mentioned about looking at your present experience,(negative thoughts, feelings, anger, anxiety, depression) from a arms length and not feeding it. Similar to the concept of un-clinching in buddisim! This whole mindfulness, zen, present moment, Thich Nhat Hanh, Jon Kabat Zin, Alan Watts and Buddhism has changed my life in such a postive way, away from the negative mentally and views of things.

  • It has always been around especially the zen movement in the west. But no one knew what it meat to be present until the concept of mindfulness was re-introduced and it changed everything! But you are right, its new for me to and im totally a believer in it!

  • I am a testament to this practise. It works no question. It took a few weeks to become a practised-habit in response to stress, anger, emotional et. al. But once I was accustomed to using this technique; oh boy. Nothing negative lasts in my mind. For me, its a miracle treatment. JUST TRY it. do it for 60 days. If you don't notice a great improvement in how you deal w/your emotions...well, you can write me the most scathing comment lol...it works though trust me.

  • mindfulness is such a new and exciting concept love it
