personally i love the fairtex gloves, they just MIGHT be my favorite kind of gloves(m-1 global gloves are very very close too) i use them for striking more than i do for grappling

With hand wraps under you can get them pretty snug on the wrist but yeah the strap is not very ergonomic that elastic band gets in the way in stead of helping. Great overall gloves tho really nice feel to them and great shock absorbtion. Quite hard on the outside but very nice and soft on the inside. Great to hit with, they suck to get hit with.
