On May 4, 2007, General Hospital introduced its best new character of 2007: Kate Howard. Off screen, she captured the hearts of fans, but on screen, she caught the attention of Sonny Corinthos - for the second time. Twenty years prior, in Bensonhurst, she had been his high school sweetheart, his first love - Connie Falconeri.
Now reunited, the two have embarked on an amazing journey of joy, tears, laughter, and most of all, love. Their love story is a roller coaster ride of events and emotions, and yet, they are absolutely perfect - meant to be together, always.
Megan Ward and Maurice Benard have such incredible chemistry on screen and have brought to life the SKate relationship. Both are entirely devoted to GH, their characters, and their fans. Megan and Maurice - thank you so much for giving us the gift of SKate. We appreciate all your hard work!
This music video captures the most memorable SKate moments of 2007. And we look forward to many more wonderful memories throughout all of "two-thousand-and-skate".

Love this video - I was trying to remember when she was first on GH. You tell their story perfectly! Hope they get back together and they don't pair him with Claudia (I don't care if she use to be Carly!)

After he proposed almost a month ago and she ran away, he got really upset and told her to stay out of his life. She hasn't, though, and is fighting so hard for him. Yesterday (Valentine's Day), they kissed again (twice); the second time he kissed her in response to her "the least that you can do is tell me that you still love me".
The chemistry is definitely still there, and it looks like they'll be officially back together again very, very soon :-)
