When you do these more laid back videos you really are unstoppable. The only thing the assholes can use against you is your "abrasive" style...take that away, and no one will have any excuse to blow off you're philosophy.

Congratulations, this beautiful video got me to delurk and create this account to make this comment, my very first one in around a year surveying Youtube from behind the trees. Your channel is my favourite. Have to admit there's a lot of repetition of the pink balloons, consumption, reproduction, addiction and one feels there's not much to miss taking a few months off ..... and then you'll go and make this kind of arrestingly intimate video. Can anyone still question your profound humanity?

I probably should have watched both videos before commenting.
I get OTP's rational, but in the moment of battle you get what you get.
if you want nice, polite, thoughtful conversation you don't do it on a video camera over youtube - it's the nature of the beast - few people are going to watch a video that isn't confrontational. If you're going to get up on a soap box, declare your POV you're competing for a lot eyeballs, if you want them to watch you better find a way to grab their attention.

I really enjoyed this video, Gary. Definitely a lot different from your usual style. I don't normally leave comments on your videos, although I watch most of them. It was cool to see a more personal side as opposed to your normal approach.

imho, there are far too many toob people who would be indifferent to you or who would be quite put out and even hostile if you didn't feed them their daily dose of a ranting Gary.....even if they saw it was harmful to you....watch Cool Hand Luke.
They are addicted to a buffoon gary , a caricature...which you are not.....you have far more tools in your toolbag than a hammer..(i've seen you fix things:-))
