Can I please have your opinion on: When you say salt/ excess sodium in the diet can lead to bone loss, would you think that excess sodium in the form of real sea salt would also produce this problem or are you referring to only sodium chloride?

@dudeslove Dr Blake's response: Sea salt is 87% sodium chloride, while table salt is about 98% sodium chloride. Remember that 80% of excess sodium comes from processed food. Excess sea salt could also lead to bone loss, but it is unlikely that salt added at the table would amount to enough grams of salt to cause this excess. Avoiding packaged foods, such as canned food and baked goods is a good way to avoid excess sodium.
