Does iomega have access to view our files?

@hardvvood Definitely not. The StorCenter device is yours, set up on your private network, and doesn't have any contact with Iomega whatsoever. The only external access would be set up by you, and that would be, for example, if you set up a cloud backup like Mozy. Even then, security is completely under your control.

i dont get can you save stuff from you computer to that thing wireless and acces it when ever u want?

@ayala314 That is correct. You attach the StorCenter device to your network, then it's possible for everyone on the network to upload/download - even remotely!

i ma get an iomega but i have to make sure if you can add a password so people cant access it like neighbors
