  • Thanks for posting this, I have been trying to figure out those layered notes and you are the only source that shows how to play them !!

    Great stuff there , Thanks

  • @143Chippy Your welcome, glad this video helped you out!

    Take care,

    Jareth

  • Hi, could you make a turorial on how to play Films and I Nearly married a Human

    that would be great

    Thanks for this vid

  • @RicardoDiLago Yes, I will be more than happy to do that as soon as I get some free time.

    Your welcome and take care,

    Jareth

  • Nice demo - the polymoog keyboard and the phase 100 are the essential synth sounds for the 79-80 period. I would say, however, that you'd be doing yourself a massive favor by getting yourself a vintage phase 100 in preference to the reissue. they come up quite often on eBay. thanks for posting the vid of your polymoof though. Wish I had one!!

  • @RJADVids Thank you for the comment and the info! I have been looking for a vintage MXR phase 100 for quite some time now. I may just have to pick me one up soon.

    Thanks again and take care,

    Jareth

  • Hey Jarreth that's spot on with the extra effect you added & YES I've been trying to work that second part out for ages, the part where you used the B, Csh & other notes so thanks. Cheers from Rich

  • @giantrobot9000 Thank you!

The MXR phase 100 is a little better for the polymoog, but the phase 90 is great to. Well, polymoogs are not cheap and thay are known for having lots of problems. A decent polymoog will run about $800.00 to $2,000.00. I got mine for $300.00 and had to rebuild it from the ground up to get it working again. It took me about 3 months, but it was worth it.

  • That is fantastic! I LOVE that tone. I'm a guitarist, and we do a cover of Cars and I've been using my Phase 90 on it, and had no idea that's what was really on the synth! I need a Polymoog, though!!!! How expensive are they? I love vintage analog synths.

  • Hey you're a mind reader as I've been trying to fatham the ending out for years as I can play the rest of cars including the first bit your playing. Those two parts must have been done by Gary N in multi recording so they sound like they're playing similtainiously. I can play Are Friends Electric, The piano part for Photograph, Airlane, Down In the Park & a few others. Cheers again you're a WIZ KID. I'll studdy that other part I've been trying to get to grips with. THANKS from Rich
