Video of Briton Emma West shouting racist abuse on a London tram set the Twittersphere on fire.
Netizens were outraged, and Labour Party leader Ed Miliband joined the hunt. They demanded action from the British Transport Police.
West was quickly identified and has been arrested. The Twitter mob rejoiced at this "effective" use of social media.
It was so effective that West's address was tweeted and she received death threats. West was denied bail and will spend Christmas in jail for her "own safety."
Is this what Twittersphere really wanted? Aren't they just empowering the racists? The objects of West's abuse practiced that English tradition of keeping a stiff upper lip. Has Britain forgotten how to do the same?

The British brought as many benefits as they brought "problems." Most in India now, for example, would not have had it any other way (than for the British Raj to have been part of their history, and now to speak English and have much English culture, etc.) No country has an obligation to genocide itself by letting itself be invaded my non-natives, be a fatted calf, or dinner for the world. English leaders have an obligation to the English and their prosperity first.

I think that this "racist" woman had the right to express freely as she uses only words. People around them must have told her that british government created problems in other countries so as foreigners come to England for better work conditions, life improvement and so on.
