There is always a lot of people triying to learn C++ and i think than they can't do it , because they don't try it!!.And inteasd of that , they just say " i'm going to learn C++, so i will read for 15 minutes like 2 pages of a book" and they think than they can learn doing that..
For understant that programm language , it's necessary to try! But not try.. You must try it!!.

I'd like to see some C++ graphics programming please.
If you're a game dev then this would be a good niche.

And don't get me wrong, I love to read...but for some focus doesn't happen that easily.

Personally I love these tutorial videos, I've been trying to get into programming for years but I could never focus on the books long enough to learn anything. This way I get enough sensory stimulation to be able to pay attention.
One kids videos is just flashy little pictures saying to read the description with music, even that works better for me than the dry methodologies of someone trying to teach through a book.

That editor is emacs and the compiler is GCC 4.2(i believe that's what I was using... the latest at the time) in Linux.^_^
