My dad used to work for Spartan and delivered trailers like this one and the big mobile homes too.

The company had a bobbed off Studebaker truck that pulled the trailers.

When my folks first got married they lived in an 8' wide Spartan in a park in Plainfield IN.

Not necessarily interesting to anyone, but this video brought back a lot of memories for me!

@georgiahoosier I hear a lot of stories like that from people. Trailers that remind them of growing up with their families. Trips, living in them ect... It was a joy working on this trailer and finding a home for it.

How long did you own it? That's a pretty long trailer for travel.

I had control over it for a week. I owned it for about 24 hours... He just towed it to Ojai, CA. this morning. He called around 11 am to let me know that he arrived safely...

Mine too actually. I was thinking about pulling the ad there for a while and restoring it myself but I have too many projects going now. She got a good home though. It will be a gem.
