*afterschool at practice*
Demi:*leads Joe to the field*
Joe:is this the field?
Demi:no, its just green stuff. *rolls eyes*
Joe:alright, sheesh.
Demi:*lets go of his hand*cmon, new kid.
Joe:*follows her*
Demi:hey guys, wheres Ryan?
Nick:his parents needed him. so hes not coming.
Demi:oh okaye.
Kevin:well, look whos here.
Joe:uh, hi?
Kevin:wahts up.
Joe:the coach approved?
Nick:yup, your one lucky dude.
Joe:okay.
Demi:good luck, newbie. *sits on the bleachers with Miley and Selena*
*they start practicing*

*an hour later*
Miley:woah, hes really good.
Demi:thats waht im afraid of. *watching*
Selena:isnt that a good thing though?
Miley:and why are you afraid.
Demi:of course its a good thing. but you know how Ryan is with competition.
Selena:yeah, your right.
Miley:cant be that bad.
Demi:are you kidding? its only been a day, and Ryan's already jealous of him.
Miley:with you?
Demi:yeah.
Miley:woah, hes go it bad, hes never jealous.
Demi:exactly my point.
Selena:so anyway, waht are the plans after we're done here?
Demi:anywhere but home. [its friday]
Selena:why? your house is the best. it has everything!
Demi:i just dont feel like going home this weekend, my brother's having his friends over.
Selena:and thats bad because?
Demi:*gets nervous*it just is, okay?
Miley:ok, geez. ms. cranky.
Selena:you can stay and my place.
Demi:no, my brother will find me there.
Miley:*confused*why, waht happens if he finds you?
Demi:uh, uh. we're in a fight. so i cant be anywhere he knows i'll be. so dont tell.
Selena:mhmm, kaye. but who will you stay with? your brother knows all of us.
Miley:not mr. new kid.
Selena:BRILLIANT!
Demi:but waht about Ryan? he'll find out eventually.
Selena:either that or you and David's fight.
Demi:*sighs and watches Joe* you think he'll let me stay with him?
Miley:worth a shot.

*after practice*
Demi:*walks down to Joe*can i talk to you?
Joe:okay...
Demi:*takes his hand and brings him away from the others*
Joe:*smiles*
Demi:*lets go* ok, this might seem awkward, considering i only met you a day ago. but is it okay if i stay at your place for the weekend?
Joe:not to be rude, but why?
Demi:home isnt appropriate right now, and so are my friends' houses. so can i? *hopeful smile*
Joe:*thinks:dad's, not home. waht harm could it do?*sure, i guess.
Demi:*screams and hugs him*THANK YOU!
Joe:*hugs back suprised and smiles* your welcome.
Demi:*pulls away*ok, lets go.
*they walk back to the others*
Selena:im guessing he said yes.
Demi:*smiles* yup.
Kevin:yes to waht?
Miley:spending the weekend at his.
Demi:MILEY!
Nick:why would you stay at his house?
Demi:long story. just dont tell David.
Kevin:wh--
Demi:gotta jet. Miles, ill come get my clothes at your house later on. *pulls Joe with her as they leave*
