Florida Sea Monster Mystery Solved

This hypothesis is quite similar to the White River Monster in which they think the monster was a male elephant seal that wandered into the Mississippi River.

But I wasn't basing that off the monster, I just thought I read that about the seal.

How exactly does that change the point of this video? The sea "monster" looks to be around the same size head to tail - does it not?

Your wrong mister. The Florida sea monster is a sea elephant. They are larger than a leopard seal. And they have a perfect trident shaped tail.

There is a video on youtube showing a sea elephant in captivity from 1975.

Look it up. It as no audio but the creature is really impressive. At the end of the video it turns and you can see the trident shaped tail. Wow! that was sooooo hard to figure out.

A leopard seal? Preposterous. First off, leopard seals do not inhabit fresh water. Second, explain how a leopard seal could be several thousand miles off course, in a non-arctic environment, and in a completely different ocean (the live in the north Pacific). The head is nothing like any seals, not even an elephant seal.

The head looks like a cow, or similar ungulant.

there is no way that the animal would be there for a decade. if it was a animal that lost it's way it would eventually have moved on somewhere else, so it isnt most likely dead, and it's not a leopard seal. it's something that just cant b identified if it's a already known animal or a new species all together.

you really need to do more research, it's not a leopard seal. first of all when u show the tail it looks nothing like the florida sea monster, the pic u show there is a gap in the space between the fins and the original video it's 1 solid tail, no spacing. The other thing is the color, completely different. And the final piece is when you say that it's a animal that got off course well that makes no sense considering that the man has been recording this monster for a decade,

A full view of this creature is not available and not enough of a view is scene to give a definitive explanation as to what it is. Skeptics will say without a doubt there's always an obvious explanation and believers of cryptids will swear they have seen some creature they want to believe exist. There is no winner in this. So far the burden of proof is on the believers so maybe skeptics are not winners but definitely ahead on the scorecard. People still see the unexplained. Proof still lacking.

@cbcoza the funny thing is that the same can be said of skeptics. People are either slanted to believing everything has been discovered that ever will be and others will be slanted to thinking there are still creatures yet unexplained. There are very few people who are fair minded in regards to Cryptozoloology. If prehistoric animals exist there are probably few of them and they exist because they are reclusive. I did say IF. The channels need to make money, so by reporting what it actually is at the end will only cause no sales for a new series the next time round. When it comes to individual's it comes down to a belief they want to believe in and follow, and by doing so they are hardened into that they cannot be told otherwise when it is something simple like this.

@Nemesis0300 go to the actual guys website there is a different video were it shows the creatures length which would make yours guess wrong....it is possible that he has two different creatures.

If my memory serves me right, this video was taken from Florida. If this is a leopard seal it would be out of its range. The leopard seal is not a migratory animal i believe, according to the man who tape the videos this things were coming back and fort to that place for years. leopard seals are from the arctic, do the math. There are other things a "professional" considers before making a judgement not just because "It looks like".
