  • that was useless

  • Hi, could you please help me. I'm using Logic Pro 9 and Kontakt 4 with Evolve Mutations 2 plugin. I've created a song but I am having trouble syncing up the drum loops from Evolve mutations with some strings. You can find the video on my channel.

I've tried quantizing it but it doesn't work because Logic can't get access to information about the loop.

Can you tell me how to sync it in time using Kontakt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Timbre is pronounced "tamber"

  • It's a very simple thing, but I've been trying to figure out how to do this for almost a year, so this was very useful indeed! Thanks!

  • someone pls explain me how to assign 12 mono 22 stereo output channels into logic from kontakt (i can assign them in pt or nuendo)

  • @stoph2 Hahahahhaa...you "decided" to hate top notch, high end DAW software used by world wide professional recording engineers and producers for making multi platinum records ???

Well I think all of them will get job done. It's totally not important if you are using Nuendo, ProTools, Cubase, Digital Performer, Reason, Logic...

If you look at new ProTools, they are really giving their best to emulate Logic. But they are still user hostile and complicated and that's why people avoid it.

It's a bit late, maybe you discovred that by yourself but when you add a new instrument in Logic, you can tick "multi-timbral" dialog box and choose how much channels you want. So, you can have a setup with 16 Kontakt stereo channels. Basically, when you tick multi-timbral, Logic creates 16 instrument tracks plus all the tracks are assigned to different midi channels. Once you load Kontakt on the first track, all the remaining tracks are automatically assigned to kontakt.

  • another reason why pro tools 8 is so much better... i'm not being all fan boy i've just decided that i really hate logic... its so shit

  • What if I want more than two instruments playing from Kontakt?

  • think about it....
