Sydney College of English

Sydney College of English is one of the oldest English language schools in Australia. It first opened its doors in 1987 and was the first English Language College ever to be accredited by NEAS.

Our campus is located on three floors of a building within walking distance of Central Station and main bus routes. We are between the University of Technology, Sydney Institute of Technology (TAFE) and Sydney University, in a lively student area of Sydney. Darling Harbour, Chinatown and the city centre are only minutes away.

Participating in a course at SCE is enjoyable, challenging and rewarding. Our teachers are all university graduates with specialist language teaching qualifications; we use the latest educational technology and we achieve consistently high success rates in public exams such as IELTS,TOEFL an the Cambridge exams.
