Israeli Terrorism in Gaza - Farming Under Fire

Abassan Jedida, The Gaza Strip, Thursday 5th February, 2009 - Returning to farm the land where Israeli soldiers had opened fire on them 2 days previously, farmers and HRWs were able to harvest the parsley crop for only half an hour, before soldiers again began to shoot. A number of shots were fired into the air, before the soldiers started to aim in the direction of the farmers and international accompaniment. Bullets were heard to whiz past, close to peoples heads.

She was shouting that they are civilians, unarmed, yadda yadda. The Israeli army tries to claim, when they get caught doing this sort of stuff, that the people they were shooting at 'appeared to be armed' or were in some way doing something 'suspicious' and were aggressors in some way. The purpose of the clearly not-Palestinian activist with the horn was to make it obvious that the soldiers KNEW these were unarmed civilian farmers.

You fools! The soldiers fired at the people because we have already seen farmers with donkeys instead of loading food on donkeys are loaded with explosives. And we'd seen a group of farmers who come to the fence, including terrorists who are trying to hide among them a shooting attack on the guard position.
