Bill Brady should be our next Governor, and it's up to us to help him win. Anyone who watched him during the primary debates noticed how he projected himself beyond the frays of inter-party bickering, and LOOKED like a Governor. Whoever you backed, and there were several qualified candidates, it is now time to put personal feelings aside, and do everything in your power to elect this Republican candidate over the current Democrat incumbent.

When his biggest criticism is that he is TOO conservative, is that like being too skinny or too wealthy? Can we replace conservative with moral or virtuous, or plain old good? With the recent history of Illinois, I think we NEED somebody who has a strong sense of morals, and is not afraid to stick to them despite all the political windsocks telling him otherwise.

This is OUR test, like New Jersey, Virginia, Massachusetts, and a dozen other legislative positions that have flipped power from Democrat to Republican since the election of Barack Obama.

Illinois can take back the Capitol, if we Republicans start working NOW to get Bill Brady elected, and work like we havent in years.

This could be the year when we look back and say we helped in 2010 turn the state back around for the GOP.

  • I backed Andy McKenna partly because I am from Winnetka, where he grew up and used to live, but I am now enthusiatically supporting Bill Brady.
