Sonic The Hedgehog - Playthrough (Part 5)

This is me doing a playthrough for the original Sonic game, Sonic the Hedgehog. Even though I have the Genesis version, I'm playing the one from the Sonic Mega Collection game for the Gamecube.

This is just a playthrough for fun. For the people who never were able to get the 6 Chaos Emeralds, I grabbed them all and included the ending you get when you beat the game with all 6 (not that anything spectacular happens).

I got screwed up in the second Star Light act, because I took a path I'm not used to, so I killed myself two times.

You can buy a TV Tuner Card for your PC to record off the TV.

I kept wondering why you didn't just use the spin dash, then I remembered that they didn't have that move in this game.

I never could get past Labyrinth zone :( that Starlight boss fight was pretty cool. The zone reminds me of Hilltop zone on Sonic 2 with the feel of Spring Yard zone. but the Scrap Brain part is too cool

@KOAHUNT3R In other words, these kind of games can be hard for some and tend to give people the quit attitude. But nowadays, they are a lot easier to beat. Probably has to do with 2d or 3d. 3d gives us a better view of what's ahead.

i only made it to the end of labyrinth zone when i was i child i kept dieing on that part all i knew at the time was there were only a few more levels left after that one but never made it passed labyrinth zone so i gave up

Funny, I dont remember scrap brain zone. Maybe because either Labyrinth zone or Starlight zone killed me.

broke out sonic mega collection for the gamecube and started playing the sonic games I played on my friend's genesis a long time ago in a house far far away. I learned something, these games are specifically designed to piss you off >.< but I love 'em =D
