Whats with the nagging about the wire colour??? As long as they don't get swapped at the terminals, so putting the speakers out of phase, it doesn't really matter.
The black line is only there to help identify the same cable at the end of the run. They could be any colour as long as you know which is which.
If it really mattered, one would be solid red and the other solid black.

I have a question and cant seem to find the answer too. Im going all out with passive speakers. with a pair of JBL active speakers for home and house party use.
BUT whats your opinion of a passive speaker with a bi-amp option??? I found a Behringer 18' passive 1600w with a biamp option. And whats your opinion of Behringer speakers? Ive been a fan of Mackie.
Also your opinion on the Peavey QW218?

yes they would be ok but should look into buying bigger speakers if your going to become a mobile dj
With the speakers you previewed, would/could you possibly use them for a house party? I'm doing a Halloween gig in about 1000sqft space. What speakers would you recommend? I'd like to include a sub/bass speaker with my configuration.

hi, these speakers are too small, but you can get biger ones, same make, for a house party the 12"active would be fine. j
