The late Brian Clough (well known successful footballer and subsequently football manager) lived in this small village.

This village is in Derbyshire and not to be confused with Quorndon in Leicestershire, whos name was shortened to Quorn to avoid postal difficulties :-)

Great idea to speed up the vid.This is the way I cycled from Allestree to Ecclesbourne School when we had a home hockey match,we are talking the early 60`s [up to the main road,2:07]turned left here.i remember the water tower....is it still there?boy,would I move to Quarndon in an instant if I had the money......ty for the video
