Ok, I may not be a singer. But, I was under the impression that breeathing from your diaphragm was the best way to go. Not breathing from your chest...Maybe I'm wrong......

thanks for the advice. not only it made my voice great. but it made me healthier :)

@taurdur Lung capacity actually can be increased by doing various cardio and aerobic activities, as well as other things.

"this sex is tooooooo gooooooood!!!"

@taurdur sorry to tell you, but you are wrong as well. For some people it's good t breath the way you explained it and for other people it's better to to it the way David explained it. There are two types of breathing and it has something to do with ur birthday. It's important to know, if you are a solar person or a lunar one.

@gabannaania174 I'm fairly certain he was just exaggerating for effect. Besides, you can breath into your stomach AND chest for MAXIMUM AIR.

@Webarton This particular video is not wrong at all.
-
@mohitl1985 That's not true. You don't have to breath in the nose during an exercise like this.

dude! who/what are you looking at?

@Webarton So much poor advice in one video...People should pick up Richard Miller instead of seeking a youtube quick-fix
Hi David, sorry for the correction:as a matter of fact lung capacity can't be expanded, holding the breath doesn't develop your diaphragm and taking a full breath as you demonstrates by raising your chest and shoulders which then collapse when you push your air out is contrary to efficient breathing. The chest and shoulders shouldn't move, and most importantly for a singer it's necessary to learn to manage the breath, not to augment its volume or the pressure with which it is exhaled.
