Computer Simulation of a Sample Processed in PACE

A sample is placed into the load lock chamber then brought down to vacuum. From there, the gate valve is opened allowing the sample to be transferred into the main chamber. The sample is then detached from the transfer arm. The transfer arm is then retracted from the main chamber, and the gate valve is closed. The sample can then be processed.
